Recently Graeme Codrington spoke at TGIF (Thank God it’s Friday), a Christian discussion group that meets at the (ungodly) hour of 6:30am every Friday morning in Gauteng, South Africa. It is available for downloading, by right clicking here and selecting save as. It’s about 7.5 Mb in size.
The content is a version of his presentation, Hannah’s Rules on the rise of the ethical consumer. It owes a lot to Brian McLaren’s “Everything Must Change”.
The Gospel of Reconciliation vs The Gospel of Church Growth - Antoine Rutayisire
0 Comments Published July 6th, 2008 in GeneralAntoine heads up African Enterprise in Rwanda. He gave this talk at the Amahoro conference in Uganda in May 2007. He talks about part of the problem for Africa:
“The African contradiction is that the very same people who have hatred in their hearts towards others, especially ethnic hatred, still go to church. This includes pastors. When the fighting is over, there is no reconciliation, and the festering wounds are not healed. The anger is still there.”
